        About Prism

Free lessons that explain, not just list.

Prism is a free library of school lessons in physics, chemistry and maths for Classes 8 to 12, following the NCERT syllabus. Every chapter is built to be followed step by step, on any phone or computer.

        How a lesson works

        1. Learn. Each section starts with a puzzle, builds the idea one step at a time, shows a diagram, and ends with a quick check you can try before seeing the answer.
        2. Five ways in. If one explanation doesn't click, try another: an analogy, a simulation, the maths step by step, the story of the discovery, or guided questions.
        3. Three levels. Simple, standard or in depth. Choose the one that fits you and change it any time.
        4. Play and practise. Short interactive cards and practice problems, with worked solutions, help the idea stick.

        Free for every student

Prism has no fees, no ads and no sign-up. The full course is free and will stay free.

        How the lessons are made

Lessons are written with the help of an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic), checked against the syllabus, and tested for reading level. Prism is in beta: teachers have not yet reviewed every lesson, so mistakes are possible. If something looks wrong, trust your textbook and your teacher.
